Socialising, Studying and Stressing… Oh My!

University life is not all about study; socialising is also very high on the priority list when it comes to students’ every day lives. Socialising may very well end up being the highlight of a very boring day of remembering, revising, studying and stressing continuously.

This image was taken in the food court at lunchtime when people were occupying the entirety of the area. It demonstrates that students enjoy meeting up with friends and socialising to take a well-deserved break from the ever-demanding duty of study. As students occupy themselves with social activities, the fear of the unknown is put on hold.

It may be of interest to take a look at this website for a recount of the food currently available at the University of Wollongong.

Collaboration, respect and fun; these are the three main ingredients for a friendly, low-key game of successful sport at the University of Wollongong. The University is known for its extensive diversity of resources, catering for a range of different students with varying interests and needs.

This image was taken as a group of students spent their lunch break participating in an amateur game of basketball to alleviate the everyday stresses of lectures, tutorials and study. The game was played in a nice, secluded area of the University, away from the movement of students rushing to and from their classes. “We just love this part of the Uni, it’s so far away from the rest of the campus that nobody comes here,” one participant revealed.  The students in this image are partaking in a journey of the unknown, but they are making the most of their student years by allowing time for themselves to have fun.
