Vox Pop 2 – What is Your Biggest Fear and Why?

“What is your biggest fear and why?”

Whether it be a physical fear or a mental fear, fear is often the result of uncertain and unknown factors. People are scared of what they do not know and the consequences that may arise. This video questions a variety of University of Wollongong students, who are in their first-year of studying, by asking them what their biggest fears are.  As depicted in the video, students have very similar fears such as “being alone”, “dying” and “not being good enough.”

This video explores the students’ biggest fears and why they feel such reactions when literally or figuratively confronted with these unknown situations.

Vox Pop 1 – Have You Found Making Friends at University Easy or Difficult?

“Have you found making friends at University easy or difficult?”

Despite University being an institution renowned for its higher level of education, informing and providing its students with the necessary skills and qualifications to succeed in life, a very important factor of University life is making friends and contacts. Many students may find this difficult for a number of reasons, some of which can be viewed in this video and include responses such as “I don’t make friends easily” and “I’ll have friends in one tutorial and none in the next.”

All students have different outlooks and opinions on the art of making friends, but whether they find making friends easy or difficult; it is still unknown territory.
